When life becomes busy and you’re feeling frazzled, pause.

Take a deep breath. Come out of “problem-solving mode” and meet the present with appreciation.

Cultivating an attitude of gratitude benefits overall well-being.

Boost happiness, reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and strengthen relationships with gratitude. Practicing gratitude brings resilience to move through challenges and adverse situations.

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” —Eckhart Tolle

Our lives are full of reasons to be thankful. Sometimes we just need a nudge to remember. Practicing gratitude is not a denial of difficulties in life. Gratitude lets you meet life in each moment as it arises. Releasing attachment to the “it should be” and appreciating the “it is what it is” is an important base of well-being.

What are your typical first thoughts waking up?

Remember, your early morning thoughts set the tone for the day. Navigate your life with greater grace and ease, regardless of the twists and turns, by starting  each day with appreciation.

Tips to Cultivate Gratitude:

•  Take a deep breath and reset. Welcome yourself into the moment, just as you are.

•  Notice what you have right now, and what you can do.

•  Name three things you are  thankful for. They can be very simple.

•  Share appreciation with people you love.

•  Choose kindness.

•  Keep a gratitude journal.
