Everything is constantly changing, mostly imperceptibly. Making the choice to connect with your purpose—with what really matters, is the first step charting a course toward improving health and well-being.

Winter Solstice is the “return to light” welcoming longer days. It happens slowly, almost imperceptibly, until one day we blink and realize we’ve made another seasonal transition with nature into spring.
We do not impose our will on the days becoming longer, it just happens. We do not force flowers to bloom, they grow from the seeds that were planted in the dark soil where they have been gently nurtured by the earth. While “being busy” may seem the epitome of success, resting is an important part of the growth and creation process.
Keep walking toward your destination and rest as often as needed.
While running will get your there faster, you could be exhausted and injured upon arrival. Take care of yourself, be mindful of the present, and practice the pause that nature has provided in winter. Winter is a wonderful season to:
- Rest.
- Build healthy habits.
- Shift mindset.
- Connect with consistency.
